Dr. Sarah Veinot has been dedicated to the care and wellbeing of animals for as long as she can remember. Originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, she began working in the veterinary field at a young age, gaining experience in small animal practice and volunteering extensively with local wildlife organizations.
Her passion for animal care led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of New Brunswick, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island. After graduation, Dr. Veinot returned to her hometown to practice for three years before making the move to Nova Scotia to join the Pet Focus Bedford South team.
Dr. Veinot has a strong interest in small animal medicine, with particular enthusiasm for surgery and dentistry. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with her clients, founded on trust, compassion, and open communication. Her lifelong dedication to animals shines through in every aspect of her work.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Veinot enjoys hiking, rowing, reading, and spending time with her own beloved pets. She is thrilled to be part of the Bedford South community and looks forward to caring for your pets as if they were her own.
