Speaks: French & English
Melissa graduated from the University of Guelph in 2021 with a degree in Wildlife Biology and Conservation. She is fluent in both English and French and had the incredible opportunity to complete a Wildlife Conservation Research Internship in Limpopo, South Africa.
She chose the veterinary field because she is always seeking new opportunities to expand her horizons and has a strong interest in wildlife veterinary care. Working in this field, she has grown to love the supportive team she works with every day and the top-notch care they provide for their furry patients.
A fun fact about Melissa is that she was once lifted by an elephant with its trunk! While she doesn’t have any pets of her own yet, she hopes to adopt one in the near future.
